The Cajun Gravy was created during Hurricane Harvey to serve thousands of plates of quality southern food each day to first responders and those affected by the flood.
We feed first responders, military, and law enforcement during the beginning of disaster relief so they can commit to search and rescue. Then after the rescue phase, we switch our focus to the victims of natural disasters.
Every dollar collected goes towards the effort to give a hot meal to a person in need, and the supplies we collect go directly to the people affected from a disaster.
We hope to change the way that people think about served disaster food and bring victims a good meal during their time of distress.
